Acer Iconia Tab A100,7" Inch Tablet

Acer announced the Iconia Tab A100 at Mobile World Congress this week in Barcelona. The 7″ tablet will run Android 3 (Honeycomb), the OS built from the ground up to make tablet’s really cook. Additionally, the Iconia Tab is powered with Acer’s “clear.fi” multi media sharing system which allows for integration with other clear.fi supported devices in the home.

Consumers will also love the powerful dual core Tegra 2 processor, which makes browsing and playing games a faster experience, and it’s NVidia GeForce GPU supporting flash for games and multimedia playback. And with Full 1080p HD video playback, the Iconia becomes a media streaming device for home theater as well thanks to it’s built in HDMI port. Other devices can connect via the miniUSB port and the A100 sports all the connection standards including WiFi, 3G and Bluetooth 2.1.
The Acer Iconia A100 will be available in the UK at the end of April, price TBA.
