In the market for a cheap netbook system? You may want to check out the latest offering fromGenesi. They’ve just dropped the price for their Efika MX Smarttop and Efika MX Smartbook system where you can get it for $129 and $249, respectively.
Specification wise, Genesi Efika MX Smarttop is powered by ARM Freescale iMX515 processor, 8GB storage, 512MB RAM, has WiFi and memory card reader. Meanwhile, Genesi Efika MX Smartbook is using the same processor (with built-in 3D graphics) but it’s a netbook-like system that comes with 10.1-inch LED backlighting screen, 16GB flash storage, WiFi, optional 3G modem, keyboard and trackpad, and more.
The standard version of Efika MX Smartbook is selling for $199 while the 3G upgrade will cost higher at $249.
